If they are, you'd have to find out from Google which port the Google Drive app uses and whether or not the network administrator is willing to unblock that port.Google Drive is an application that allows you to access all of your Google Drive files on demand, directly from your computer without having to synchronize your entire drive or shared drive (saving storage space on your device). You'd have to find out if someone is blocking ports. If it starts working then your original network is blocking you. So if you find your Google Drive is not working, try using it on something like Starbucks wifi. So maybe someone on the other network is allowing standard ports to work but if the Google Drive app uses another port, the administrator of the other network could be blocking the app.
When I go to the website it would be using 80 (HTTP) or 443 (SSL). This leads me to believe there is something on the other network which is blocking the Google Drive app. The only thing which seems to have changed is the network I am connecting to. I have been using it for 3 days and it has no issues at all. I have my computer on a different network and the Google Drive is working fine.
